These short exercises will help you learn the potential power of hypnotherapy and self-hypnosis as relaxation techniques to help relieve stress, remove negative feelings and habits and enhance performance and motivation.

Practice This Simple Self-Hypnosis Script.

It will help to train your mind to be calm and receptive to positive suggestions.

Sit comfortably, feet slightly apart and flat on the floor, your hands loose and limp on your lap.

Think of a positive statement that you’d like to accept today.

eg, I am calm and confident and all that I desire I will achieve.

eg, I have total control over my appetite and I feel full and satisfied after small healthy meals.

Taking 3 deep breaths, in through your nose, out through your mouth.

On the third breath, gently close your eyes and just continue to breathe, focusing on your breath.

Now, slowly count down from 10 down to 1 with each breath you take, in and out.

After each number, say to yourself, in your mind, the word “deeper” to move you into a state of deeper relaxation.

After you reach 1, repeat a positive, affirming statement to yourself that you’ve decided on earlier.

Continue to repeat that statement to yourself until you feel like you have absorbed it, 2-5 minutes is best.

When you are done sit quietly for a moment, then slowly count up from 1 to 5, feeling the energy returning to your body.

Open your eyes, and see how good you feel.
